Children in the low-income grandfamilies served by ISDD, especially those with special needs, often struggle in school. Grandparents can find it difficult to help their grandchildren with their school work and worry that they will fall behind. Your contribution helps to provide in-home tutoring to get children up to grade level in reading, math and other subjects.
